I enjoy working with fibre, all sorts of fibre but perhaps wool might be my favourite!
I generally process my wool from raw using a mixture of techniques but try to be as environmental aware as possible. I usually colour the yarns by using natural dyes,  there is something very sympathetic about the natural colours, but they are not always pale greys and browns. I also have been working in Primary schools teaching the pupil how to spin and prepare flax fibre and ultimately weave narrow Egyptian style bandages.
